The objective of the collaboration is to expand the Artennua® brand throughout Spain, and preserve its identity within the framework of the cobranding project with Livisto Spain.
Livisto is an international pharmaceutical company with extensive experience in the veterinary sector dedicated to the development, production and marketing of high-quality products for animal health. It is present in more than 100 countries, with its own headquarters in 5 European cities and 2 in Latin America.
Currently, Livisto arrives with its portfolio of about 30 products to more than 3,000 Spanish veterinary clinics, hospitals and surgeries, covering 70% of the territory with 17 official distributors in Spain.
For its part, Tricopharming is a Spanish biotechnology-based company that has developed an intense and innovative R&D activity since its inception, backed by regional and national institutions; and which also has collaborations with various national companies.
Tricopharming is specialized in the development of green technologies for the standardization of aromatic and medicinal plant crops. The company’s first product, Artennua®, was launched on the market in 2019 and has become its flagship veterinary product.
In this way, as of August 1, 2023, Livisto adds to its product catalog the capsules of the 100% vegetable complementary food Artennua®. Its standardized quality and its ability to contribute to strengthening the body of pets have led it to obtain a good reception by veterinarians.
Artennua® capsules are produced entirely in Spain. The origin of the raw material where Tricopharming directly cultivates the Artemisia annua plant is in the Canary Islands, achieving superior quality thanks to the use of innovative proprietary technology.
Likewise, from Livisto they highlight that the Artennua® capsules are currently available for sale in more than 500 veterinary clinics throughout the Spanish territory with a presence mainly in the Communities of Catalonia, Madrid, Valencia, Murcia, Aragon and the Canary Islands.
In addition, the capsules of this unique botanical food supplement now arrive with a new, more natural formulation, enriched with rice protein. The price, format and number of capsules per bottle will not change, although there will be a change in the appearance of the packaging as a result of the cobranding project with Livisto.
